Seth W. Hamalian

Mr. Hamalian, a Managing Director, joined Farallon in 2000.

Prior to joining Farallon, Mr. Hamalian worked on first mortgage and mezzanine debt originations, as well as the acquisition of other originators, at iStar Financial, a publicly-traded real estate structured finance company. Before joining iStar Financial, Mr. Hamalian was with Starwood Capital Group, a real estate opportunity fund, where he worked on acquisitions for the company's fourth fund.

Mr. Hamalian attended the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar. He received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School, a B.A. in Urban Studies from the College of Arts and Science, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
