David I. Cohen
Mr. Cohen joined us in 1992. Mr. Cohen is a partner at Noonday Asset Management, L.P., a member of Farallon with responsibilities including portfolio management, risk management and strategy.
Before joining, Mr. Cohen was a vice president at Goldman Sachs. For three years he worked in the corporate finance department and for three years in the merger arbitrage department. When Mr. Cohen left Goldman Sachs, he had oversight responsibility for the international risk arbitrage portfolio.
Mr. Cohen was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University where he graduated with a M.Sc. in Economics and a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Prior to Oxford he was the top graduate in Physiology and Biochemistry with a B.Sc. from the University of Witwatersrand (South Africa).
