Mr. Spokes is the Managing Partner of the General Partner and the Investment Manager. Mr. Spokes joined Farallon in 1997. In 2005, he co-founded Noonday Global Management, Ltd. Before joining Farallon in 1997, Mr. Spokes worked in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs for ten years, most of which time he spent in Europe and Asia. At the time of his departure from Goldman Sachs, Mr. Spokes was an Executive Director and Head of Corporate Finance for Goldman Sachs (Asia).
