  • Michael B. Fisch

    Managing Member

    San Francisco (General Counsel)

    Mr. Fisch joined us in 2005 and is Farallon’s global General Counsel.  Previously, Mr. Fisch worked as a corporate and tax associate at Covington & Burling’s San Francisco office and was law clerk to the Honorable Diana G. Motz on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Fisch was a research analyst at Manchester Trade Ltd, an international trade consulting firm. Mr. Fisch graduated from the University of Michigan Law School with a J.D., cum laude, and with a B.A. in Political Science from Emory University.

  • Monica R. Landry

    Managing Member

    San Francisco (Trading)

    Ms. Landry is the Head of Trading and Operations of Farallon and joined us in 1994. Prior to joining, Ms. Landry worked in a variety of finance and office management roles at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Ms. Landry graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a B.A. in Psychobiology.

  • David Posner

    Managing Member

    San Francisco (Global Head of Investor Relations)

    Mr. Posner joined us in 2015 and is the Global Head of Investor Relations and Business Development.  Prior to joining us, Mr. Posner was responsible for international fund raising and investor relations at First Reserve and held a similar role at Davidson Kempner.  Previously, Mr. Posner worked as an investment professional in private equity.  Mr. Posner graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Economics and International Area Studies and received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

  • Gregory S. Swart

    Managing Member

    San Francisco (Chief Financial Officer)

    Mr. Swart is Farallon’s Chief Financial Officer and joined us in 2002. Prior to joining, Mr. Swart worked at Goldman Sachs for twelve years, primarily based in the Cayman Islands where he managed a business unit providing accounting and administration services to hedge funds. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Swart worked for six years at Ernst & Young in his native New Zealand. Mr. Swart graduated with a diploma in Business Studies from Waikato Institute of Technology, and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand since 1989 (inactive).

  • James M. Swerkes

    Managing Member

    London (Trading)

    Mr. Swerkes joined us in 2004 and is a Managing Member of and head trader for Farallon Capital Europe LLP. Prior to joining, he was a European equity trader for Capital International Ltd in London from 2000–2004. Before moving to London, he was a part of The Associates Program at The Capital Group Companies in Los Angeles from 1998–2000. Mr. Swerkes graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana.

  • Mark C. Wehrly

    Mr. Wehrly joined us in 1996 and is Farallon’s Chief Operating Officer and Special Counsel. Prior to joining, Mr. Wehrly worked as a corporate law associate in the San Francisco office of Shearman & Sterling’s corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions practice groups. Mr. Wehrly graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School with a J.D. and with Distinction from Stanford University with a B.A. in Economics and in English Literature.

  • Richard P. Bollini

    Managing Director

    San Francisco (Accounting)

    Mr. Bollini joined us in 2004. Prior to joining, Mr. Bollini was a certified public accountant with Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche specializing in tax issues related to the investment management and hedge fund industries. His experience includes exposure to a broad range of securities transactions and structural issues having both domestic and international tax consequences. Mr. Bollini received his M.B.A. with concentrations in accounting and finance, graduating in the top five percent of his class, and he earned a B.S. in Managerial Economics, graduating with Highest Honors from the University of California, Davis. He is a licensed California Certified Public Accountant.

  • Caroline Chang

    Managing Director

    London (Legal and Chief Compliance Officer)

    Ms. Chang joined us in 2008 and is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Farallon Capital Europe LLP, as well as a Member of the partnership. Previously, Ms. Chang worked as counsel in the Merchant Banking Division of Morgan Stanley in London and as a mergers and acquisitions associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in London. Ms. Chang graduated from Harvard Law School with a J.D. and from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Biology.

  • Colby Trexler Clark

    Ms. Clark joined us in 1997. Prior to joining, Ms. Clark attended the University of Virginia and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and American Government.

  • Robert B. Clarke

    Singapore (Legal)

    Mr. Clarke joined us in 2011 and is the General Counsel of Farallon Capital Asia Pte. Ltd.  Prior to joining, Mr. Clarke worked as an associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in New York and Singapore, where he acted on a number of private investment transactions for Farallon.  Mr. Clarke graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law with a J.D. and from Duke University with an A.B., cum laude, in Russian and Philosophy.

  • Julie Harkness Cooke

    Julie Harkness Cooke joined us in 2007 and is a Senior Counsel at Farallon.  Previously, Julie worked as a corporate law associate in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster LLP and as a law clerk to the Hon. Robert C. Broomfield, of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.    She graduated from Columbia University Law School with a J.D. degree, where she was a Kent Scholar, and Duke University with a B.A. in Economics and English.  She also holds an LL.M. from Cambridge University, where she was a Gates Scholar.

  • Hannah Dunn

    Ms. Dunn joined us in 2007.  Prior to joining, Ms. Dunn served as an associate in the Chicago and San Francisco offices of Sidley Austin LLP in its investment funds, advisers and derivatives practice group.  She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law with a J.D. and the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. cum laude in History and Anthropology.  She is a co-author of the first edition of the book U.S. Regulation of Hedge Funds.

  • Kate Gorman

    Ms. Gorman joined us in 2003.  Prior to joining Farallon, Ms. Gorman worked at Credit Suisse First Boston (formerly Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette) in the Private Fund Group.  She graduated from Bucknell University with a B.A. in Psychology.

    Ms. Hsieh joined us in 2009. Prior to joining, Ms. Hsieh was a corporate associate at Richards Kibbe & Orbe LLP in New York, where she focused primarily on hedge fund and investment bank clients. Ms. Hsieh graduated from Yale Law School with a J.D., and with a B.A. in History from Cornell University.

  • Kirstin J. Lynch

    Ms. Lynch joined us in 1994 and is Farallon’s Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining, Ms. Lynch graduated from New York University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences with a M.A. in Hispanic Civilization, and from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Social Sciences.

  • Daniel D. Meade

    Mr. Meade joined us in 2002. Prior to joining, Mr. Meade worked as an equity options market maker on the Floor of the Pacific Options Exchange for D.Meade Investments (as general partner/sole proprietor), Carpathian Fund I LP, and AOT USA, LLC. Mr. Meade graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Economy of Industrial Society.

  • Jacquelyn R. Suen

    Ms. Suen joined us in 1995. Prior to joining, Ms. Suen was a manager in the Business Assurance practice at Coopers & Lybrand, L.L.P., where her client base consisted primarily of hedge funds and investment advisors. Prior to that, Ms. Suen was employed at Spicer & Oppenheim, a public accounting firm. Ms. Suen graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

  • Matthew Trentini

    Managing Director

    San Francisco (Chief Technology Officer)

    Mr. Trentini  joined us in 2001 and is Farallon’s Chief Technology Officer. Previously, Mr. Trentini ran a consulting company, Invision Software, that provided software engineering services to a number of financial companies in the Bay area. He has over 20 years experience developing software across various industries including finance, manufacturing, transportation, printing, fulfillment and direct mail.

  • Mike Wall

    Mike Wall joined us in 2001.  Prior to joining Farallon, Mike served as a Senior Financial Accountant in the San Francisco office of Deloitte and Touche LLP.  He graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Economics, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

  • Wendelyn E. Whelan

    Ms. Whelan joined us in 2000. Prior to joining, Ms. Whelan was a Senior Audit Associate at Ernst & Young, where she focused primarily on hedge fund clients. Ms. Whelan graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. in Business Administration, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
