Online Information Collected
This policy applies to information collected from, or which may be submitted to, Farallon’s website. At the present time, we do not collect any personally identifiable information about visitors to the publicly available areas of our website, including any visitors’ names, addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers or email addresses. We may collect email addresses of those of our investors who choose to access the private, restricted area of our website reserved for our investors. At times, visitors to our website may choose to email individuals at Farallon using links available on our site; in such instances, a visitor’s email address may be collected as part of the process of sending the email to us in order to enable us to reply to those emails.
Farallon’s website does not collect any personal data about you (such as your name, email address or other contact information), except when you specifically and knowingly provide such information. This website uses “cookies,” which may automatically collect certain information and data. “Cookies” are small pieces of data sent to your computer browser from our web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. The data identifies you as a unique user and facilitates your ongoing access to and use of this web site. Cookies also help us diagnose problems with our server. Cookies do not provide us with any information about your name, address phone number or email address, or any other personally identifiable information. We may, however, log visitor IP addresses.
Use of Information
We do not normally share any information collected from the publicly available areas of our website with any parties outside of our company. Farallon reserves the right to disclose any such information we do collect when required by a valid subpoena or court order, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
This policy is in addition to the privacy policies and procedures applicable to Farallon’s investors, as summarized in the Privacy Notice that is provided to such investors.
